Home Sweet Home

After over 14months spent in the European Military theater I had the awesome oppurtunity to travel home for a couple weeks to see my family and friends. I can't wait to be a little closer to them...at least in the same country or something!

Engaged!!!

I am now engaged to the love of my life, a sweet little farm girl from Dusty, WA. What a blessing! There is no way I deserve such a wonderful beautiful godly wife, the Lord has truly been a part of of it all. I am happier than I could ever be any other way.

ROTA

Madrid for round two

I arrived in Spain nearly two months ago already, it's hard for me to believe that time has flown by that quickly. When I first got here I took a trip up to madrid to see the tourist side of things, but I never really got a good chance to experience the nightlife and cultural aspect of it all, so, I decided to take another trip, this time with 8 of my friends from the command. I leave this afternoon for yet another tour of Madrid. However this time I do believe the trip will be quite different. :)

Orthopedics

We had a meeting this week at work where we discused who should take over the orthopedics department of the Main Operating Room. Well somehow, I, being fresh out of school and into the navy, was selected, so now I am the senior tech for orthopedics in the hospital. One of two techs in all of Europe. I don't think I realize, yet what a responsibility this will be, but i know that for the next two years I will be in charge of my own surgical service and I will learn more about it than I caould anywhere else(esp as a civilian).
